Presentation on Remote Editing at SET 2022.

João Paulo Quérette, ALFRED’s CEO, will be part of a panel on Conectivity and Remote Production at the SET 2022 Conference.

ALFRED’s presentation will be about Remote Editing, existing approaches, their pros and cons, in a panel which will discuss connectivity, the advantages and limitations of remote production.

Never has so much video been produced as in this age of more cameras and screens than people. The pandemic stopped the world, but made the wheel of digital history spin faster. What was already a trend became a necessity and work became remote for most of us. It’s been no different with video editing.

Learn about the different ways to edit video remotely, their techniques, equipment, software and workflows, and understand the advantages and disadvantages of each approach.

João Paulo Quérette is the founder and CEO of ALFRED, a company which develops digital media management software. With a background in physics and computing, and a history of more than 25 years dedicated to digital video, he led the implementation of dozens of projects in companies and institutions across the country, in addition to being at the forefront of research and development projects. João Paulo has already presented at events such as SET, NAB, IBC, IFTA and TNW.
